She covers her flaws.
They see perfection.
They don't see the hidden details.
They don't see the pain in her eyes.
They don't hear the sadness in her voice.
They watch her act,
Mesmerized.
They see her walk,
They note confidence,
When its really insecurity.
She hide the bruises
under make-up.
Will they ever know?
Will they understand?
What will she become?

I hide a lot of things because I hate being me, (lately I've understood who i am an why i am so im not so scared now) but no one knew i was getting hit. and i couldn't find a way out but now i have good people... there's this one person who knows if something's wrong even when im smiling so what im saying is yes this is about me getting hit by my ex.. but there is a way out. don't let yourself get hurt...
